Immunity Boosting Kale Smoothie

Feeling run down?  Whip up this kale smoothie to boost your immune system.

Side note, I prefer blending to juicing because the ingredients retain all the fiber. Fiber is our friend 🙂

Blending time: 45 sec

Serving size: 1 person


  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups of kale leaves, stems removed, tightly packed
  • 1 inch of fresh, ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp ground chia
  • 4 ice cubes


Toss it all in a blender on the highest setting for 45 seconds and enjoy!
